Apartment.

01Brief
The owners came to us with an apartment cut off from its garden and sliced apart by partition walls. The ask was clear: a warm but ordered family home that pulls daylight in and gathers three generations at one table. We chose to keep the shell and rebuild the interior from scratch.
02Concept
We removed the non-load-bearing walls and merged living, kitchen and dining into a single open volume. The garden façade was opened to the floor to bring the space outside in. Warmth comes from oak and natural stone; order from concealed storage and clean circulation.
A completely different life inside the same shell — not demolition, but opening the right wall.

03Material Palette
Brushed oak flooring, a matte travertine worktop, lime-based wall plaster and forged brass details. The palette is deliberately quiet — let the texture of the material speak, not the colour. Linen and wool in the textiles; a warm 2700K in the light.
04Build & Site
The real challenge of a renovation lived in the old services and the warped slab. We replaced the electrics and plumbing entirely, levelled the floor with screed, and set a new lintel into the garden façade. Every trade was our own crew — single responsibility, single schedule.
05Outcome
Delivered in fourteen weeks, the apartment now carries morning light into the kitchen and evening light into the living room. In the owner's words, 'the same square metres, twice the home.'
